Operating to the Highest International Standards
Exporting beef to demanding markets such as the United States, European Union, and the Middle East requires compliance, documentation, and regulatory credentialing that only professionally managed facilities can achieve.
Approved Establishment
Sirsil SA is recognized under the USDA-FSIS framework, permitting export of beef products to the United States. Products comply with USDA labeling requirements, the National Residue Program, and FSIS import reinspection protocols. Official export health certificates are issued by INAC/MGAP for each US-bound shipment.
Official Registration & Veterinary Oversight
All Uruguayan processing plants operate under INAC continuous oversight. MGAP deploys official veterinarians on-site for ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection, HACCP compliance enforcement, and export certification. Their presence ensures government-level food safety oversight at all times.
Certified Food Safety Management System
The facility maintains a certified HACCP food safety management system. Documentation, monitoring records, and corrective action logs are maintained for all production runs and are available for customer or authority review upon request.
Certified Under Recognized Islamic Authority
Halal-certified products carry the relevant logo and certificates of conformity issued by the certifying body for each shipment. The Halal program includes segregated production lines, dedicated equipment, and specific slaughter protocols to ensure full integrity of certification.
Rabbinical Supervision & Kashrut Certification
Kosher production is conducted under rabbinical supervision per Jewish dietary law. Kashrut certificates are issued by the supervising rabbinical authority and accompany each Kosher shipment. Uruguay is among the world’s leading Kosher beef exporters — Sirsil SA is part of this valued supply chain.
EU Eligible & Hilton Quota Access
Products exported to the EU are processed under EU veterinary import requirements including official health certificates conforming to EU model certificates. Hilton quota-eligible cuts are documented per EU Hilton quota administration rules for preferential tariff access.
